This hotel is amazing and the bed is really comfortable. It was perfect after flying from Baltimore to Los Angeles. Heather was so amazing and accommodating. She really made me feel welcome. The room is very spacious and there is enough bathroom towels. Plus the TV is nice and easy to use. I can't wait to stay again!

The Hoxton was charmingly exquisite in every way. The receptionist, Stasja, heard I was celebrating a BIG birthday and had hand-written cards, chocolate, nuts, facial mask, and Hoxton pocket square waiting in my room! My room was cute and well-appointed. I’m a tea drinker and found several options to make with the SMEG kettle. |Then there is Cabra- the rooftop restaurant. I ordered the pork shank which was the best I’ve ever eaten. Succulent and filling enough for two. They served Sticky Toffee pudding as a birthday treat. It was so delicious I am still talking about it. |The Hoxton is my new boutique hotel of choice. I will choose them whenever I head to a city in which they are located.

The service is always amazing! I really appreciate the location for my business needs. If its not the good coffee in the am its a beverage on the rooftop! ||Heather and the rest of the front desk staff are always welcoming too! ||If you need a fun hotel check them out! You won't be disappointed!

It was amazing!
Even though we forgot to ask the names we wanted to do a special shout out to 2 wonderful people! first was the gentleman that checked us in (to refer to who he was, he had a casket around his leg), he was amazing! We inquired if it was possible if there was a room available with 2 beds, since we booked the wrong room type, and he was so accommodating about it! And all the other things that we needed to know about he told us so perfectly, so we knew what we could expect.
Second is the girl that was working in the early evening on the day that we checked out, she told us she has only been here for a week, but some people can learn a lot from her! She was so sweet and we had a lovely chat with her.

The hotel overall is also just great! Lovely rooms, nice restaurants and goo location. There is a metro about a 15-minute walk that takes you to Hollywood in 20 minutes!

Unfortunately, there was one person at the front desk we are less positive about. But we don't want to make this review about them, we all have our good and bad days.

I hope that this message will reach the right people; to let them know they are doing a lovely job.

Very, very cute hotel located in the heart of downtown LA. I came for my birthday weekend as a solo traveler. I would advise to be aware of your surroundings while walking but overall I felt safe. The hotel is very moody, stylish and chic. Reminded me of White Lotus. They have a cute pool and rooftop bar and restaurant. There’s also an adorable coffee shop, comfy lounge and a cozy dinerette on the first floor as well. Highly recommend for the price. The rooms were very cute, a little small but very cozy!

I wish I could give this hotel a good review, but there were many disappointments. First of all, there were some weird things about the room. In trying to be cool, certain things were just annoying, like the light switches which were unique, but hard to use. There was also a water kettle and tea bags with coffee in them, but there was no creamer in the room, not even dried creamer. I can appreciate that the hotel is in a converted building, but the way the toiled and showers were set up, there was little privacy. We were give two aluminium cans of water. Then there was this scent in the elevator that was so strong it was nauseating. The AC in our room was broken. They said they fixed it and brought us a fan, but it never worked. But the worst part was that on a Saturday night after traveling all day to get there, we were told all they had were snacks in the bar area and that we couldn't have dinner upstairs without a reservation. After we walked to The Proper and had an outstanding meal, I looked to make a reservation for the following night at The Hoxton. When I logged on, I saw that there were plenty of openings for both Saturday and Sunday. Finally, on Sunday morning I went downstairs to get a cup of coffee, and they had no coffee bar. What hotel doesn't have a coffee station for their guests who get up early? I know there was coffee in the room, but I would have woken up my husband to make it. They said that they had no barrista and that I had to wait for the restaurant to open to get a coffee. It was lots of little things that added up to a stay that was largely disappointing.

We had an amazing stay. The interior decorating was top notch, the bed was super comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Both restaurants were amazing in both atmosphere and food. The rooftop views were amazing! We will definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone considering this hotel.

I was very excited to try this hotel, as I had walked past it many times while staying at the hotel next-door. So I thought I would venture out and try a new hotel. The prices seemed pretty reasonable to me and I like the fact that you could bring your dog complementary I mainly went off the pictures and how it looked from the outside walking by, unfortunate I was very disappointed when I arrived the pictures really do not match how the hotel looks in person. My first sign that maybe the hotel was not that greatest was a very strange odor in the hallway I think perhaps the carpets need to be cleaned properly. The room was cute, but not very functional with it’s heavy doors to the bathrooms and difficult lights to navigate turning on and off, the biggest disappointment was when I went to the rooftop bar and was informed it doesn’t even open till 5 o’clock which the main pool was the main reason for me wanting to go to this hotel. The patio furniture cushions were laying next to the pool and looked very dirty and unappealing. At this point I decided only to stay one night because I had already paid for two nights in advance. Another factor that’s an issue is there’s quite a bit of noise that keeps you up from the hallway so if the rooms definitely meet better insulation on the doors. I think this is the perfect hotel for young people just looking to crash and not so concerned about the small details. The price was relatively good until you add all of the taxes and fees in and it’s not really so much of a value considering the other things. I do appreciate the manager Andre working with me to credit me for the second night so that I could go to another hotel. I think what could’ve been done differently is when I expressed concern about these items after checking in only two hours, the top management to say that they are sorry that I’m not satisfied and give me a credit and allow me to check out. The hotel is definitely not my cup of tea, but it might work perfectly for someone else.
