Recently I brought a friend into Ka Papa for lunch. It was her first time and we were the only customers during that time. I’ve been several times before & have consistently enjoyed it. Overall it was a positive experience. Calvin was attentive and courteous.

My friend was delighted with the cheese board, which I told her we had to have. She is a vegetarian and I am vegan so it was fun to see how well she liked all the vegan cheeses.

We were charged $4 for extra bread which was unexpected. I do feel the server should inform of this because I would have opted not to have any additional at that rate. But I appreciate the bread is made in house and is quite delicious.

Calvin let us know there is a new frequent diner card but he didn’t have any to give us. I’m going to try to hold onto my receipt and remember to present it next time I’m in so as not to lose credit for this visit.

Thank you Ka Papa for your effort to provide a wonderful unique vegan dining experience in Sarasota. All of the incentives to save a bit as a customer are helpful because if anything I believe the prices are deterring you all from getting new/more business. And of course there is the unfair & unreasonable stigma against vegan food. Hopefully you all stick around for a long time to come as I do hope for the continued success of Ka Papa, there isn’t anything else like it here in town. 🙂

We are definitely going back!
Heather was our server and she was amazing. The ambiance was so cute!
My husband and I went here for our 1 year anniversary and loved it! We each started off with the Virgin Hugo spritz and they were so good! Our appetizer was the “escargot” which was decent.. unfortunately neither of us have had real escargot before so it is definitely something you need an acquired taste for. Our main meals were delicious! I had the “salmon” which was served with mashed potatoes and caper sauce. It was amazing. My husband had the Love Loaf and well, he loved it! I had a bite too and really enjoyed it. We finished dinner with two desserts.. lavender lemon cake and the apple streusel with whip cream. The lavender lemon was AMAZING. The apple was great but def needs some ice cream. Overall we are very pleased with Ka Papa and plan on going back asap!

Delicious food ? amazing ?
The pasta was fantastic, the salads delicious with fresh veggies and creamy dressing. The chocolate cake had a side of whipped cream. So delicious I can't wait to go back again. The waitress was awesome very helpful and answered any questions and kept our drinks full.

I really enjoyed the mushrooms with broccoli mash. My wife really like the spaghetti squash with arugula and peas. The Belgian chocolate cake dessert was very tasty. The Montecarlo Cabernet was light and tasty. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. We’ll return soon.

Drove over here from Orlando area for a special night out with my husband. We are both plant-based and the reviews on this place were spot on! We enjoyed every bite from all the dishes we shared, and can’t wait to come back!

Such an inviting atmosphere with above amazing food! Would highly recommend!! The desserts were beyond exquisite. The best chocolate cake I’ve ever had in my entire life.

This was one of my favorite vegan restaurants in my 23-year vegan journey. The warm “brie” (made of cashew cheese) was absolutely delicious. So good. Brought two non-vegans with me and they both loved it. I had a raw zucchini pesto dish (photo) and the others had the French onion soup (described as “amazing”) , a poached pear and “blue cheese” salad, and the LOVE loaf (photo). I took a piece of the lemon lavender cake home and
it was super good.

Fabulous vegan food! The deserts are to die for! The brie appetizer was excellent. I'm not vegan but we came to celebrate my vegan daughters birthday. So if I loved it, you know it's good!
