Stayed here in September and came back in October. Truly feels like a vacation even just for one night. Dinner at the Shor was delicious and the front desk employees, housekeeping employees, and restaurant employees, actually all employees we interacted with were so welcoming and friendly.

Stayed here for a week, and the stay overall was a good experience. We started by being helped by the valet team to help park the car. It's $40 per day to park it yourself or $50 per day for valet with unlimited use. the staff were super friendly, and the bar area was lively in the evenings. They had a small shop to buy drinks and snacks. Room service was quick but expensive. We had a Seaview room, which was huge. Great king-sized bed with a bath/shower room. The decor is a bit dated, so don't expect a modern setup, but it was more than comfortable for business.

From the great location to the well maintained property to the great front desk team to the restaurants, you can’t go wrong. The rooms are large, comfortable and have plenty of outlets to charge your devices. The property layout has more of a resort feel in a good way.

I wanted to share my experience that the Brian Culbertson concert, which was definitely worth the trip! However, I was quite disappointed with my stay at the Hyatt Regency. It all started with the television not working properly, and we had to contact the staff multiple times to get it fixed. But the most surprising part was when room service showed up like DoorDash, delivering a steak dinner in a paper bag and a cardboard take-home box with plastic utensils. I understand the need to be considerate of the environment, but I had certain expectations given the cost and location of the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt for a work conference, and my husband accompanied me as we extended the trip into a holiday. The hotel is in a great location, and we were happy with the amenities, which were up to satisfaction.||||However, the rooms seemed a bit tired and could use some updating. For the price charged per room, a little more attention to refreshing the décor and maintenance would improve the overall experience.

Stunning property! Great choice for your visit to Newport Beach. If you’re a World of Hyatt member, book with points. They made our trip extra special by upgrading us. Nice location, walking distance to Balboa Island and a short drive to Fashion Island. Best part was the staff - friendly and helpful! Special shoutout to John who checked us in and gave us the best recommendations. We’ll be back!
If I had to nitpick, complimentary bikes were difficult to ride and in need of an upgrade.

horrible place, dont come. You have to pay 40$ parking. they charged me 40$ for selfing parking than the i left, if i didnt check my statement, they charged me 50$ for valet. Never used it. scammers. Also had to hike from self-parking to my motel room. Yes motel room, why did i say motel? Because its a totally different section from the actual resort. the motel area doesnt even have an elevator for me to use to get to the 2nd floor. Any other inn or motel would atleast have that.

This place was a very nice hotel I definitely would recommend staying here. The service was very good everybody was happy to help out. The rooms are a good size. The lobby bar is very big with lots of nice seats to sit in. This place has three pools and they heat them. This property is very large it takes a while to walk around it. The hotel is walking distance to Balboa Island or fashion Island which is very nice also. Right next door there is the bay. The restaurant at this hotel is very good. The food was also extremely good.
