I really appreciated the free shuttle to and from the airport. You need to call them upon arrival at the airport once you've gotten your luggage. It was a short wait. Going back to the airport, you need to tell the front desk staff in advance what time you plan to take the shuttle. It would've been nice to have these and other logistics more clearly posted on their website as well as explained at check-in, or made available on a flyer in each hotel room. For example, on what floor is the fitness center and pool, is wireless internet free (yes, for basic but there's a fee for the premium version), etc. There's a microwave in the hotel store which guests can use. There's a fridge in the room which I appreciated. My first room was ridiculously loud because of the noise transmission through the door that connects two rooms. I heard seemingly everything going on in the next room- loud TV and non-PG rated noises I did *not* want to hear. I recommend requesting a room that does not have this connecting door. The staff were super accommodating by letting me switch rooms. The second room was quiet, as would be expected. However, the bathroom door was peeling which was a bit weird as I've never seen that at a hotel before. There was also |a hair on one of the towels. The rest of the room was immaculate, though. I really appreciated the front desk staff who let me store my luggage and who let me check in a bit early when a matching room was available.

It started with Tanicka's exemplary customer service. She was very helpful booking my lyft from the air port and was so friendly when I arrived for my stay.|The restaurant has a very good burger and fries and the breakfast has a good variety. |The room was very clean, bed was comfy with many pillows to choose from and the show has nice hot water with decent pressure. The room came with 2 complementarity bottles of water. |They also have a small store with snacks, beverages and adult drinks plus some essentials you may have forgotten at home.|There was one small challenge, it took me a minute to find how to turn on the side table lamps (it's on the cord behind the lamp). It was actually comical because I was tapping all around like those old lamps from years ago lol.|I would love staying here again on my next trip.

We were in Orange County most of summer 2024 for medical reasons, and most of that time, we were at the Zessa, which became our home away from home. The excellent front desk staff and management became like family, and went over and above to help us feel welcome. Huge kudos to Oscar, Wa-El, Tanisha, Lorena, Andre, Sofia, and many more. Our seventh floor housekeeper, Amelia, made us feel like we were on a cruise ship with her attention to detail. With these great people taking good care of us, recovery from surgery was a breeze. The secured underground parking garage was also a benefit, as we brought our own car each time. Looking forward to our next visit, hopefully under better circumstances .. !

The hotel itself is nice and the rooms spacious. The decor is nice and modern and everything feels fresh and new which is, I believe, because it was recently renovated. My one complaint is that the breakfast represents terrible value for money. $25 for very little choice with only a few hot options, some fruit, cereal and baked goods. Honestly at that price point I would expect a lot more and the quality of what was there could be considered average at best.

The location is great. You're right next to the freeway so it's easy to jump onto a major freeway. You can't hear the street noise though so that's nice. You're also walking distance to several restaurants. Rooms are nice as well, but what's up with the no vents in the bathrooms? It gets so hot and steamy it's terrible! The room and hotel are very nice. Highly disliked the fact that you have to pay for parking daily. That was a major bummer. Although they are very pet friendly and I loved that. They even have doggy bags and lots of walking areas around the hotel. I also loved the security fact. You have to scan a key card in order to go up to the floor levels which made me feel safer.

Excellent overnight stop on our way to our destination. As usual, arrived late but plenty of secured underground parking (with an associated parking fee). Check-in was smooth, professional, and quick. Room was great - sufficient space and accessible, and very clean. Everything in room worked and had a restful night.||Would definitely return.

Positive: Area of the hotel was great. Negative: The condensation from the shower left the floor moist and wet the carpet. They tried to charge $50.00 for a late check out when we didn't arrive till the next day. I was charged full price for the stay when we technically was only there for a night.

Erick and Pam Kendle. We stayed at Zessa Hotel Santa Ana Aug 15-18 2024. Our stay was for A Women's Church Seminar. We were greeted with wonderful customer service!! Tanisha was the customer service agent at the front desk. She greeted us with a smile and forfilled our request to make sure we had King bed with a couch. She offered water and cookies! Wow!! Those cookies were Good!! The hotel was clean. Room was clean. We will return for another stay. Zessa, Santa Ana is the best kept secret in Santa Ana. Thanks Tenisha. Also I don't want to forget the Customer Agent who checked us out on Sunday was awesome as well.|He offered to help with our bags. |Thanks again Zessa.
