Nice location for Airport only. Parking was difficult especially when maids are allowed to park in Diamond reserved parking. When we first got in room it was stuffy and humid. A/C thermostat on wall not operational. We called and Facility rep came promptly and told us to push power button on unit mounted on bottom window. Refrigerator had no freezer compartment, and microwave had improper glass plate sliding all over when using. This is unacceptable for a Hilton Family establishment! Sad to see a nice location Hilton family establishment in this condition. In addition we were told at check in there would be a $28 parking fee per night that we were not made aware of on the website where we booked our reservation. After stating that fact the desk person didn’t charge us. Parking is a real premium not many spaces. Fortunately I’m a handicap placard holder so I could park, but for regular folks forget about it. There shouldn’t be any parking fees period without a proper amount of spaces. Staff does a tight monitoring of spaces which is good. Much improvement needed here.

Crish was amazing and so incredibly accommodating during my stay! She greeted me with a smile and very easy to have conversation with. ||The room itself was perfect for me and they gave me a couple of water bottles upon arrival too. ||Though I didn’t eat the breakfast because I was heading to a workout, it was a full buffet with very delicious smelling breakfast and a ton of options to choose from.

Recently stayed for 3 nights at the Hampton Inn - Irvine/Orange County Airport.

The first night I was on a separate reservation through work. I arrived at Orange County Airport early, around 10:30am and called to request an early check-in. They tried to impose a $50 early check-in fee, but after I explained I had Hilton Gold status, they waived the fee accordingly. A bit annoying to me, but they were able to accommodate my very early check-in so I was satisfied.

The rest of the experience was great. Complimentary breakfast is one of the main reasons I stay at Hamptons and this one did not disappoint. Rooms were clean, spacious and well attended to by staff. Location was a block from the airport and within a short drive to plenty of activities in the area. They did charge $20 per day for parking, but I think this is expected nowadays, I had no issue with it.

Overall, it was a great stay and I would certainly recommend this hotel for those staying in the area for business or leisure.

ONE OF THE WORST hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have been alive for a very long time. If you have a complaint about people being too loud, don’t even mention it because they will turn it around and say you were the one being loud..Good thing we have most of the conversations recorded on how they acted and what they said so if it comes to that we have all the evidence we need! The cops called (multiple times for absolutely no reason!) To try and have us throw out. They couldn’t give a straight reason why we were getting kicked out they kept saying we were being rude and that we were causing noises. When would that was the reason we called them in the first place, and all the suddenly we were the ones causing noises which made no sense! craziest place I have ever stayed reminded me of a insane asylum. They gave us a hour to leave for no reason other than complaining and their excuse was someone else said some thing about us, which doesn’t make any sense because we complained first. Staff was extremely rude and disrespectful, and no regard for anyone but themselves, and talks back to you as if they’re inmates at a prison. Try to steal money since I had put down 10 days to stay there. They thought that they were going to keep $1500 to themselves since they kicked us out. Seems like they got some type of scam going on here and trying to con people out of their money, definitely needs to be looked at through the better part of business bureau and OSHA for the matter that we found roaches that were crawling around on our stuff, and it was brought to the staffs attention, and all she said was I’ll deal with it since when did she become pest control? Just got a major surgery done as well and they try to rush us out and have the police throw us out of the hotel and the police were just in shock by how rudely they were acting, especially in the state that I was in do yourself a favor and stay far away from this hotel. They are the most selfish unconcerned people I’ve ever met and they will not take good care of you and they have some type of scheme going on here and taking peoples money when you don’t Stay. definitely going to have an attorney look at further into what is going on here because something is definitely off. and the original complaint was that I called for was children, jumping up and down on the bed at 12 PM screaming on top of their lungs, but that was not even looked into it all. It was just calling to tell them that we got in trouble and got the police called tell me how much sense that makes. And the cherry on top. They tried to charge us a late fee for leaving when they just kicked us out one hour ago and I just got major surgery done and they said we weren’t leaving fast enough and I’m not supposed to be using my arms at all, so you can tell how caring of a hotel they are. Do you yourself a favor and spend a little more money if you want to be treated like a human being and actually have a good nights rest because it’s not happening there, including their infestation they have going on that they try to hide.

Room and bathroom was very clean and nice. Have a nice fitness center with a bench, dumbbell rack, treadmills, and a cable machine. Pool and jacuzzi was clean and well maintained. Dog friendly for a $75 fee. Provide free breakfast every morning with a lot of yummy options.

The parking lot was very big so there was no problem with parking with our car.
The rooms were very comfy also the bathroom. On our room there was a fridge which was a big plus and we also had a sink even in our room for water, which was another big plus. The TV was big and quality.
The view from the room was very nice on a parking lot with a palm.
The breakfast was delicious. We ate so much of it, just perfect for a boost of an energy.
The location was great also, near to everything we wanted, mainly the OC and Newport Beach.
The price was affordable and if we would have the chance to be here again, we would love to stay here again! 🙂

Paid for 4pm checkout. Had to tell cleaning crew as they kept barging into the room 3 times of late check-out, and that I paid $50 for this privilege. Despite saying this so many times. a little past 12pm the front desk calls saying I should’ve checked out. I reminded them that I paid for a late checkout — the response was ‘oh’. No apology, just, ‘oh’. Stepped out to meet someone at 1pm, got back to the room, my keycards had been deactivated. Visited front desk, told them the issue (deactivated cards), no apology, no admitting a mistake was made, just silently handed me my new keycards. Received a survey for feedback from Hampton Inn, told them about the issue, asked to speak to someone — no response. Found a TripAdvisor card in my wallet from the stay, where Rivera (I imagine the manager) asked for a review, so here it is. Bottom line is, stay was fine, room clean, but super poor communication between staff members , and stubborn front desk that refused to admit to mistakes and made interaction uncomfortable. And then, of course, lack of engagement afterwards shows that this communication problem travels all the way up through management.

Nice hotel, very helpful staff! Convenient location near to the airport and a selection of good restaurants within walking distance. The receptionist was attentive and the rooms were clean. Would stay here again if I needed a place near the airport
