Nice property but you don’t find out until check in that there’s a $10/DAY PARKING FEE. At its price point that’s a 10% increase in their daily rate. I’ll keep that charge in mind when choosing where to stay as the other hotels in the area don’t charge extra for self parking.
The TVs are streaming device compatible. The rooms with a couch are very comfortable.
Beds are comfortable.
The rooms have mini fridges.

I got re-routed here when my original hotel had a room issue and ran out of rooms. It was ok, I got here at 2 am and left at 8 am so my stay was short. Rooms smelled of mold or old musty things, TV didn’t work and I didn’t dare try the shower. I normally stay at much more expensive places so perhaps I’m just used to the good stuff. But if you need like a real cheap room here in Irvine for some reason, it worked.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel for many reasons. It has a very calm and cozy atmosphere that is perfect for family or business. I would like to give a special thanks to Nehal Taha and Sara William for making me feel welcomed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I walked into the lobby and they remembered my name. They had know problem allowing me to check in little early and for that I was extremely thankful. They had everything I would expect from an upscale hotel. They have a lot of hotel options in the area and this will be the only I will stay at.I feel very safe at this hotel because only guest comes in and out. Another great advantage to this hotel it’s dog friendly. I am very thankful for the warm welcome I received and will most definitely return. I am happy to go home however I will miss this place. Thanks again

Positive: The only thing that was good was good about the hotel was the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. Negative: I arrived after 4pm and room was not ready. When I finally got to my room it smelled like smoke and I didn?t bother notifying the front desk because I didn?t want to wait for another room again. Front desk staff was not exactly welcoming either.

THERE IS A $10 PER NIGHT PARKING FEE YOU ARE NOT INFORMED OF UNTIL CHECK IN!|Nice property. Well appointed rooms with a mini fridge, TV that accepts streaming devices like the Roku Stick, wall thermostat, plenty of storage and counter top space, and I loved the couch (room option).|Biut I really took acceptation to the $10 PER NIGHT PARKING FEE! The only notice of this in the property description is the entry "parking available," which I guess means it's not included. Maybe other hotels are now doing this, but in. my experience I've never had to pay for parking at any hotel in Orange County before. This raises the price over 10% so I'll assume this is the case at all Sonesta hotels and factor it in accordingly.|Criticisms: Although appearing clean the shower curtain fabric smelled musty and the towels are kind of thin. The front counter kiosks are ridiculous - do they really need to be surrounded by plexiglass without enough sound holes to hear the clerk? Rather impersonal and off-putting, makes you think "Maybe this area isn't as safe as I thought?" although having lived nearby for decades I know it's very safe. Also THERE IS A $10 PER NIGHT PARKING FEE YOU ARE NOT INFORMED OF UNTIL CHECK IN!

I was there in July 2024. I came into town because my wonderful father was very sick at the hospital and passed away July 11th 2024. We were there for almou3 weeks. The staff and the room was absolutely fantastic. We had our puppy with us and everyone loved her she was a hit. Staying 14 and half days. It was very convenient. They loved our puppy and they were very accommodating. I would stay at this Hotel any time in the future. So far I’ve stayed here 3 times, I’ve had a good outcome every time with this particular location. Thank you Sonesta select for your kindness and my partner and I appreciate all your accommodations and I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Cherie Abbott, Doug Lafferty, and our puppy Roxy

Poor upkeep in most areas. Pool was dirty inside and out when we arrived. I almost fell on the lounger due to it being so worn out. Saw mice running around outside in the evening. The sink in the room has plumbing issues and dirty water would come up and leave residue. Room service comes at a high fee and this is not disclosed. You have to ask for supplies or trash to be removed. The room AC seems to have a mind of its own. I would lower the temperature and the heater would turn on.
Staff seems to be fine operating this way and apologizing for everything wrong.

Dont knkw how in the hell they could be saying its a good place. It was 1 of the worst hotels I've been too. Its like a tweeker hotel. Dont let the photos fool you. Don't stay here. It's dirty, the rooms smell like as if someone urinated on the heater making the rooms smell like hot piss. The property is not well kept, the rooms are tiny, and they don't even have a continental breakfast. The location is sketchy as well. Weird people riding their bikes through the parking lot at night. They don't even clean my room. Itched all night as well. The most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at. The heater kicked off so much polluted air, hot urine smell, it got sick.
