Our family had a wonderful time at the Lido House. The resort is unique and tells the local story of Lido and the Balboa areas. The the intro tour on Friday was well done. Our dining experiences for breakfast and dinner at the Mayor’s Table restaurant were delightful. They have entertainment on Friday night in the lounge area. ||The resort is close by many attractions - retail, restaurants and the beach. The bicycles on property allow for local exploring. The quality of the amenities including the coffee in the room are some of the best I have experienced. ||It is a beautiful and unique resort and the staff made it memorable. They were gracious and exemplified the spirit to serve. They decorated our granddaughters bed for her birthday and she loved the princesses and balloons. I believe it starts at the top – it starts with the leadership.

This boutique hotel offers charming atmosphere, with beautifully appointed rooms that provide both comfort and style w/ a coastal vibe. The amenities seemed exceptional, and the location is perfect for exploring the local area. ||We stayed at the hotel for my birthday/babymoon, and had informed the staff in advance about the nature of our visit, expressing our enthusiasm for our stay. Unfortunately, upon arrival, neither my birthday nor my pregnancy was acknowledged, which was somewhat disappointing. I had hoped for a more personalized experience given the special occasion, but this was a notable departure from the exceptional service that we've received at other Autograph Collection properties.||During our stay, we also encountered significant noise and overcrowding in the common areas due to a wedding event taking place. As a result, we were unable to fully enjoy the bar, restaurant and other amenities. However, we did appreciate some quiet and relaxing time on the rooftop before it opened in the morning. ||Despite this experience, we are totally interested in returning to the hotel. But we’ll definitely plan to check for any scheduled events in advance to ensure a more enjoyable stay.

Lido House truly stands out as an exceptional experience among the many hotels I frequent for work. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the efficient service at the front desk, everything was on point. The hotel itself was beautiful and meticulously clean, while the rooms were both elegant and cozy. I will definitely be returning for my next stay. A big thank you to the entire Lido team for making this visit unforgettable!

The hotel was oh so fabulous. Conveniently located. We shopped, we walked around, we dined by the yachts. My only regret is that we missed the sunset on the rooftop bar. The hotel should highlight it as an activity worth experiencing. We did however have a nice sunset view from the room. But being outside would have been a treat. The coffee shop had an amazing croissant and great service and saved us time before we headed to the airport. I highly recommend staying at the Lido.| Next time we will take advantage of the many ammenities and dining options offered. I forgot to mention the beds. I would love to know where to get the mattress and the brand. We slept like babies. Superior comfort. We will be back to this wonderful addition to Newport.

We’re platinum convoy, so we travel extensively.|We were kept awake both nights due to the nonexistent soundproofing between the rooms. You’ll see this is a consistent complaint. The room was nice, the pool is very small. They do offer bikes, you can ride to the beach and around town, very nice amenity. Restaurant is limited, service was good.|In general the hotel is overrated. After just visiting Maui and the French Polynesia this property is mediocre.

Very nice quaint hotel with great staff. The room was nice not super high end but nice. The breakfast was all very fresh including house made Greek yogurt. They have a rooftop bar that is very cool with nice sunset views. Would recommend this and is a value in my opinion.

We usually stay at the Marriott at Fashion Island or Newport Coast Villas but thought we would spend a little more and try Lido. Nice location to shopping and comfortable room and bed. It's second story bar seems to be a local hangout (100 to 150) people for friday night happy hours into the evening. The small room seemed to be soundproof...so the crowd noise did not bug us...but the large transient party crowd did. For the amount paid, the location and its amenities should be more accessible, exclusive and secure.||On our final morning, we wanted to try the restaurant, yet we were asked to wait 1/2 hour for breakfast as we were told that they were understaffed....so we went to Starbucks across the street. Finally, they provided us with a bill that had inaccurate charges on it but removed when I had to take the time to call. ||The upshot, stay at Newport Coast or Marriott Fashion island for better value and quality.

I recently stayed at Lido House in Newport and had a generally positive experience. The hotel itself is lovely and offers great amenities. However, I did have a couple of issues during my stay.

The soundproofing could be improved, as I could hear the people in the room above me quite clearly, and it seemed like their kids were jumping around, which was a bit disruptive. Additionally, the pool was quite active until 10 pm, which made it a bit challenging to get the rest I needed for my business trip.

Despite these minor inconveniences, I was very happy with my stay overall. The ambiance and service were excellent, and I would definitely consider coming back, hopefully with a quieter room next time.
