We recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge with our kids, and while they had a fantastic time, there were a few drawbacks. First, the parking is quite expensive at $35 per day, so we ended up leaving our car overnight at a nearby 7-11, which is only a half-minute walk away. The staff at the front desk were also not the friendliest and seemed a bit unhelpful at times.

On the positive side, the kids had a blast! All the slides were open, and it was great that we could bring in food, pizza, and drinks directly into the water park area, which made snacking convenient without needing to leave the park. Overall, it was a good experience, but the high parking fee and strong chlorine smell were the main downsides.

We had an amazing time at Great Wolf Lodge! This place is perfect for families looking for a fun getaway. The Wolf Pass is a must-have; it unlocks a world of interactive adventure for the kids with a quest game on every floor of the hotel—definitely a great way to keep them engaged and entertained.

The water slides are a blast for everyone, from toddlers to adults. It’s great to see parents and kids enjoying the thrill together! The indoor water park is warm and inviting, making it a perfect escape.

In addition to the water attractions, the lodge offers bowling, arcade games, and delicious food options, including sweet treats that are sure to please everyone in the family.

While the rooms are average and nothing too fancy, you won’t spend much time in them because there’s just so much to do. We’re already planning our return for another family fun day. Highly recommend for a wonderful family vacation!

This is kind of an interesting place. If we’re being honest it felt a bit like a kids casino… you never really see the light. It’s Southern California! It’s sunny and beautiful! However in the lodge it’s kind of its own thing. The water park is nice, but again, feels weird being inside and the noise… of the noise. The constant sound makes it hard to stay very long. The pools are fine. Not super clean but that’s to be expected as it’s an indoor park. We did it just to say we re tried it. Probably don’t need to go back

I have to say, the waterpark itself was fun. My kids had a lot of fun, and the lifeguards were always very friendly. BUT..... if you go, make sure you plan on at a minimum $100 per meal for a family of 5. I spent more on food here than I paid for the vacation itself.... That made me quite annoyed. You are forced to buy their food since they won't allow any outside food in. They check at the door. I have to give them a low star rating due to the crazy prices.

Had a mini family reunion here during October for their Halloween specials. Had a blast with our kids ages 3 - 11. There was something to do for everyone here from the water park to the arcade to story time and sing along dance parties to trick or treat to magic wand adventures to multiple food vendors to fire side tables and bars and much more. Would highly recommend to other families looking for an all in one vacation/food/entertainment/indoor water park spot! Also, we visited Disneyland as it was a short drive from the hotel (about 10 minutes).

Check in was a slow and painful. When I book the reservation on the phone I asked about a birthday sign or some recognition on the door and was told they would note that and it wasn’t a problem. At check in was told I had to purchase a birthday package. I also booked two rooms for my family and another family, giving two set of information and cc info. On the phone I confirmed that I could separate the reservation at check in, again told not a problem. At check in, I explained what I was told over the phone, however they had to cancel the original reservation and start the reservation all over again. Since we had already waited in a long line twice as both rooms were not ready at the same time, we simply said just process as it. Lastly, you are provided bracelets that you can charge items to your room and open your room door. I also download the app and linked my reservation, however any time you deal with the front desk, for any reason, in this case a pool cabana reservation, your credit card and ID are required. It was very inconvenient.||My kids loved the water park, Friday was less busy than Saturday, 1-2 days is plenty of time. The room was clean. However the main lobby area could use some deep cleaning or renovations. Food was to be expected. The employees at the buffet restaurant were very thoughtful and quick service with drinks. We left the second night for dinner, SmoKING Ribs, was delicious and a few mins ride from the hotel.||My husband forgot his Nook e-reader in the room, and when we call they said they would get back to us in 30 days, so hopefully it’s sent back.

The rooms were nice and clean, customer service was great and the location is a short car/ bus ride to Disneyland if you want to make the most out of your stay.

It is very family friendly handicap accessible (even in the water). My daughter who has autism also really enjoyed it and even over came her fear of watersides and loved it.

The one thing I will say is charges rack up quick from parking, resort fees, food, arcade play and shops. Except to spend $$$ a day for any number of these charges totaled up in a day for a family of four NOT including the cost of the rooms.

Other than the high cost expense it is well worth the fun we had. And I recommend visit it at least once.
