KA put in a driveway to our pole barn a year ago and we are happy to say the quality of work shows! I run a business out of my barn and the driveway has offered my clients a professional parking area as well as a nice area for our son to play basketball (Ben was nice enough to cement in our basketball hoop at the time too)

K & A did a fabulous job installing a 30X50 concrete slab for a basketball/Pickleball court. Sadie had fantastic communication throughout the entire process which was very much appreciated. The entire crew took extreme care with their equipment to minimize damage to my lawn. I also received a refund for a service I had paid for upfront but ended up not needing. Had a terrible experience with KA concrete from start to finish. The owners are rude and unprofessional. Our driveway started cracking only a few months after it was poured. We were accused of using salt on it (we never did) and received excuses like "that's Michigan weather for ya". We hired another concrete company to inspect it and they confirmed that it was poured incorrectly. We ended up winning a small claims judgement (they have had several in the past few years). The owners never paid us and ignored a court ordered subpoena. From what I have gathered, they know it is hard for courts to enforce these things and can just move onto the next job.

We engaged KA to install a concrete driveway where we previously had gravel. They stated that they were going to dig down before pouring the concrete to maintain the grade of the surrounding land. After starting the project, they elected to pour the concrete atop the gravel producing a 4 inch lip. We had to hire another contractor to grade our land. Their work quality was poor. The workmen left their trash on our property, although there was access to a trash can no farther than 20 feet from where they parked. They used one of our hoses to wash large pieces of concrete from their clothes in the middle of our yard. I was left cleaning up their mess or risking ruining my lawnmower. They bent over a sign with their cement truck and refused to fix it.

Our driveway was completed by KA Concrete last week, July 1st. The crew members worked well together, were friendly, and focused on getting the work completed.
We'd had a misunderstanding but the crew came back and corrected it.
So far we love the driveway and we will recommend them to others.

Had KA Concrete remove our old asphalt drive way and pour a new driveway and walkway to porch. Initial communication and scheduling was great.

The crew came out prepped and poured in two days. Sadie doubted that the crew would be able to pour everything in 1 day but they did. After being able to walk on the driveway I noticed quite a few issues with the workmanship. After sending pictures of the issues (first picture) to Sadie she agreed to cut out and replace up to 3 yards (even though there was more that needed to be replaced).

When the crew came back out to replace the bad section they chipped all of the edges where they cut out the concrete. After bringing this up to the crew lead he said they would pour cream over the top of those chips. I told him that would not hold up and he told me to call Sadie. Sadie had them come back and cut another 2 inches on each side to remove the defective areas (leaving the control joints not lining up). After the new section was poured everything seemed to be OK, although i did question them not using any expansion joints.

The driveway was poured on September 8th of 2021. This Spring I noticed several areas that were starting to "Flake" as well as chunks of concrete breaking away. I also have one large crack already forming. All of this after 6 months!! After reaching out to Sadie she texted me saying that it was an issue with the concrete and someone from the concrete company would be stopping by to take a "core sample'. This was a month ago and I still have not heard anything.

At this rate I'm sure I will be replacing this driveway in about 5 years. Long story short, DO NOT HIRE!
